30 minute lessons are recommended for younger students, beginners, or those with more limited time to dedicate.
60 Minute Lessons are recommended for intermediate-advanced student who are looking to maximize their weekly progress.
This is an option for those who are are looking to develop their duo or trio performance skills.

we are
Winding Road Music Academy was created with the belief that anyone can learn and know the joy of playing a musical instrument. We believe that nothing replaces one-on-one in-person tailored learning, and in-home lessons make individual tutelage more convenient than ever.
Your Teacher
Kathryn is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in small town Missouri, she started her musical journey at the age of 7 with classical piano and went on to also study guitar. Her passion for classic music acts of the 60s and 70s led her to further her studies in music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts founded by Sir Paul McCartney, where she graduated with her BA in Music in 2021.
She has performed and collaborated with artists across genres from London, England to Kansas City and now Nashville. She currently performs locally in Nashville with a variety of recording artists.
Kathryn’s teaching places emphasis on meeting the student where they are in their musical journey to bring them the most enriching learning experience. Lessons are an equal blend of disciplined technical practice and fun!
